What StuMo will do for you
StuMo helps strengthen collegiate student's spiritual relationship with God, while simultaneously bringing the college student closer together with his fellow StuMo peers and friends. One thing I have learned in college so far is that there is a lot more negativity in this world than I've ever realized. Because of this, I feel like it's easier to fall into the "wrong group of people" to hang out with than it should be. StuMo helps students by having biblically based staff members encourage and influence college students throughout their college career. Also, the sermons are a great way to have fellowship with other Christian students and to make life long bonds between different students.
I also remember coming to the University of Arkansas from my home state, Texas, and trying to find a church that fit my need. I was also too lazy to go drive around Fayetteville in order to search for "that perfect church." But one day a friend told me about StuMo and said it was right on campus and it's only for students. Right when I heard that it sounded perfect to me already. That was a perfect way in order to keep pursuing my relationship with God, meeting new people that will have a positive influence on me, and learn to spread God's word more effectively.
Another reason why StuMo is the perfect organization for students to get involved with is because it doesn't cost a penny to attend! StuMo gives free stuff away all the time for those who attend and is an awesome college atmosphere that you can have fun at, and learn more about God at the same time. StuMo is also considered non denominational and has no affiliation to any specific christian church. This means that the student body of StuMo has such a wide variety of biblically based peers that anyone can come and feel welcomed to worship and be a part of this amazing organization for students.
What is StuMo?
StuMo (which stands for Student Mobilization) is a Christian
organization that targets college campuses in the South Central United States
to place enthusiastic, biblically solid staff in order to engage collegians at
a spiritual level. This Christian organization does not affiliate itself with any specific denomination of Christianity. There's a very wide and broad variety of biblically based believers that attend StuMo services.
StuMo has worship services every Tuesday night at 8:30pm which usually take place in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom. Worship services typically include singing and then a sermon from a wide variety of different StuMo speakers. Also, StuMo staff put together fun games, giveaways, and prizes just for attending StuMo and getting involved.
